CULLMAN - A Cullman woman lost her life on Friday in a single-vehicle accident.
85-year-old Gladys Talley of Cullman was killed when her automobile went off northbound Alabama Highway 91 approximately a mile east of Hanceville around mile marker 28.
The accident happened at about 5 p.m., when Talley’s Chevrolet sedan hit a guard rail and rolled down an embankment.
Cullman County Coroner Jeremy Kilpatrick said that Talley was not wearing a seat belt. He pronounced her dead at the scene.
