HANCEVILLE - A Hanceville man was killed in the early morning hours of Thursday, Jan. 12 when the motorcycle he was driving left the roadway, according to Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick.
Micheal Yeager, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene, which was reported as 34440 Highway 91 near Hanceville.
The cause of the crash, which occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m., is still under investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).
Kilpatrick says that Yeager was wearing a helmet.
This is the second traffic fatality this year in Cullman County. The first was on Jan. 2 in the community of Johnson's Crossing.
