Clark Charles Branch, Jr.

Clark Charles Branchinfo-icon, Jr., 78, of Cullman, passed away on November 3, 2015, at his residence. Mr. Branch was a retired Certified Public Accountant. He enjoyed a long and successful career as Chief Financial Officer with McGriff Industriesinfo-icon.

Mr. Branch enjoyed serving the Cullman community as Chair of the Cullman Regional Medical Center Foundationinfo-icon, President of the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerceinfo-icon, President of the Rotary Clubinfo-icon, member of Compass Bank Board of Directorsinfo-icon, and as a member of the Cullman Electric Coop Boardinfo-icon. Under the direction of Mr. Bert McGriff, Mr. Branch was instrumental in the organization of Terri Pines Country Clubinfo-icon.

Mr. Branch was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Peggy (Morrow) Branch, his parents, Clark Charles Branch, Sr. and Elizabeth Graveman Branch, and his sister, Shirley Ann Branchinfo-icon.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca (Federer) Branch; his sons, Chuck (Elisabeth) Branch of Birmingham, and Danny (Shelley) Branch of Cullman; his daughter, Beth Branch of Cullman; grandchildren Charles (Regan), Chris, Hunter, and Janie Branch; Jessi, Abbie and Branch Knight; Brittany, Mary Clark, and J.D. Branch; sisters, Mary Frances (Frank) Fink and Wilhelmina (Jimmy) Tucker; brother-in-law, David Branch, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Moss Service Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday, November 5, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 6, at 10:00 at Sacred Heart Catholic Churchinfo-icon with internment in the Catholic Cemetery. Father Marcus Voss, OSB, will officiate.

His grandsons, Charles, Chris, and Hunter Branch; Branch Knight; J.D. Branch (accompanied by Mr. Branch's nephew, David Tucker) and his step-grandson, Waid Harbison, will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Vincent DePaul Ministryinfo-icon, 205 3rd Avenue SE, Cullman, AL 35055.
